By accessing or using the Vici.bio website and services (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), our Privacy Policy, and any other legal notices published by Vici.bio. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
Vici.bio provides web-based tools and workflows for antibody design, structural modeling, and bioinformatics analysis using AI-driven models. We surface publicly available or licensed third-party models through an intuitive UI and GPU-backed infrastructure so you can run them without complex setup. The Platform may change over time; we may add or remove features, or modify/suspend the service, with or without notice.
All Platform software, UI, workflows, documentation, and branding are the property of Vici.bio or its licensors. Except for rights granted in these Terms, no licence to our intellectual property is given or implied.
If you upload protein sequences, molecular data, structures, parameters, files, or other content (“User Content”), you retain ownership of your inputs. Outputs generated by the Platform (e.g., sequences, structures, scores, predictions, logs) are your results. Vici.bio does not claim intellectual property rights in your inputs or outputs.
You grant Vici.bio a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your User Content and results only to execute and deliver the jobs you initiate on the Platform. We do not use your User Content or results for training, analytics, marketing, or any other purpose.
Outputs generated by the Platform are provided “as is” and for research use only. No guarantee is made regarding accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, novelty/non-infringement, or regulatory compliance. You are responsible for validating results and for how you use them.
Some features give access to third-party or open-source models, datasets, or tools. Your use of those components is subject to their own licences and terms (which may include attribution, field-of-use, or other restrictions). Where there is a conflict, those third-party terms apply to that component. Vici.bio provides access as a convenience and is not responsible for third-party content or updates.
We are a small UK-based team and the Platform is provided without service-level guarantees. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future billing at the end of your current period. You retain all your data and results unless you choose to delete them (see Section 6).
We may modify features, limits, pricing, or availability. If we discontinue a paid feature you rely on, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vici.bio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vici.bio and its founders are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits.
Subject to the foregoing, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amounts you paid to Vici.bio for the Platform in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation).
Cancel anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation does not delete your content; you continue to control export and deletion of your User Content and results.
Our right to terminate: If we reasonably believe you are engaging in illegal, unsafe, or abusive activity on the Platform, we may suspend or terminate your access immediately and, to protect users and the public, permanently delete your User Content and results from our systems with no backups (irrecoverable). Where required by law, we may retain minimal non-content records (e.g., billing or legal compliance information), but not your content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. You and Vici.bio agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland, England and Wales, and Northern Ireland.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
